Madam Lim’s, Kelana Jaya – Beside Giant
This is not a restaurant. Not the highly seek Madam Kwan’s. Just a normal ‘makan place’ opened day and night.
I had my second time lunch here. Overall, very nice experience. Foods are tasty. I ordered Cantonese Mee Hoon and it’s yummy!
Highly recommended!
Nandos, Subang Parade Service Sucks!

It’s Deepavali and everybody wants a great holiday and a good food. It’s around 7pm and we chose Nandos for our dinner. It’s been a long time since last I brought my family for dinner here.
Nandos were packed as seen from outside and I understand it’s a peak-hours and they’re under-staff (really?).
Here’s the chronology:
1. Arrived at the Nando’s entrance which hold a sign “Please wait to be seated”. We wait around 5 minutes and also waving hands as they’re busy serving customers. Frustrated!
2. Since nobody entertain, we came inside and sat on the “uncleaned” table. Waiting few minutes and then only they came to clean it up and passed the menu. Then, he vanished.
3. I got to wave my hands again for another 5 minutes, because nobody wanted to take orders. After a while, one man came and I ordered 2 set of quarter chicken with 2 sidelines of choice, namely coleslaw, chips, corn and salad. Then I went off to Surau on the 1st floor for Maghrib prayer.
4. I came back and the food was already on the table. I said “good”, at least the sevice is fast.
5. The food came with a free refill of ice lemon tea. But, the hardest part is to get them to refill it for us. Even when we talked to the managers (identified by the different color of shirt), they nodded. But the refill never came. Frustrated again!
6. My wife fed-up with the situation and went to the refill area by herself. However, not served by the waiter, but the “kitchen people” instead.
She initiated, “Nandos Sucks! Even KFC and McDonalds managers are better than them. Nandos SACC Mall, Shah Alam do not behave like this”.
When finished and paid at the counter, we passed by the Manhattan Fish Market and the entrance guy approached us. My wife said, “Next time we can try Manhattan Fish Market. At least, they’re friendly.”

Nandos’ marketing division, you might caught this post on Google very soon. If you managed to see this post in your suscribed Google Alert, kindly tell your customer service division to respond accordingly. Nandos service has gone down too far, seriously.
Thanks.
www.godaddy.com – very slow response?
Have you tried to access GoDaddy.com lately? Seems like it’s extremely slow.
Maybe I should opt to namecheap.com instead.
Upgrading Blackberry Bold 9000 OS – Successful
Based on the guide posted earlier, I managed to get the prompt box to upgrade it via Blackberry Desktop Manager.
Initially, my wrong of not deleting the vendor.xml. I just renamed it to vendor.xml.bak and it didn’t work.
After I deleted vendor.xml again, then it will prompt.
Another problem that you may encounter, the screen will statically shows or just like “hang” for around 5–10 minutes with a condition or title:
“Task in Progress”. “Connecting to Device”
Just ignore it and wait for it patiently. I will vanish and will start the restoration process.
By the time I finish writing this blog post, my upgrading process in now complete.
“Update complete”. “The loading operation was successful”.
It was a blazing fast experience. Around 10–15 minutes only.
: )
How to Upgrade Blackberry Bold 9000 Firmware?
While still waiting for the download to finish, I’m looking for a way to upgrade it.There a guide from BlackberryForums and Pinstack.BlackberryForums:
BlackBerry Handheld Software v4.6.0.292 (EastAsia)
Package Version: 4.6.0.292
Consisting of:* Applications: 4.6.0.162* Software Platform: 4.0.0.155* File name: 9000jEastAsia_PBr4.6.0_rel292_PL4.0.0.155_A4.6.0.1 62_CSL.exe* File size: 94.73MB
Both OS versions linked below are identical except for the language files included. Both versions include English If you desire East Asian languages included in the OS, download the OS here:
Select “…9000 smartphone” from the pull-down list:https://www.blackberry.com/SoftwareD…ient=cB5RB4aRB
Download here: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads…C068A355BBA31A1.
Make sure you have Desktop Manager 4.6 installed. Older versions will load the OS but may not be full compatible with all the memory of the Bold.
You can get DM 4.6 here:Vodafone Germany2. Download the above OS file to the PC then install it to the PC by running the file you downloaded.
3. Locate the vendor.xml file and delete it. It’s located in c:\program files\common files\research in motion\apploader
4. Plug in BB and Open Desktop Manager. You should be prompted to upgrade. The process takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on how much data you have to backup and restore during the process. Once it’s done loading the new OS it will reboot (it may do this twice during the entire process.) You will see a white screen with an hourglass for up to 20 minutes at a time while the DM says “waiting for initialization.”
If you end up with a white screen with small icons and the number 507, simply connect to DM again and run application loader again and it should load the OS to the device.Previous OS version for the 9000: http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene…ilanguage.html
Pinstack:
Here’s a quick How To on installing 4.x.Follow these instructions exactly and you should be able to have OS 4.x working.
1.) BACK UP YOUR DATA! - I can’t stress how important it is to get a good backup in the event you need to restore your data.
2.) Verify that you are using the latest version of Desktop Manager. Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager. In the Desktop manager program on your PC use the Help menu and select About Desktop Manager. If you need the latest version follow this link.
3.) If you haven’t already, download lastest OS 4.x from this link or if available from your carrier its BEST to download here (select carrier)
4.) Install 4.x using the .exe file you just downloaded. If you are downloading the OS specific for your carrier you can skip step
5. I other words if upgrading a T-Mobile BlackBerry with T-Mobile OS then you can skip this step. However, if you have an At&T Wireless Blackberry and the OS is non-At&T eg. from Vodafone, you MUST follow step 5.5.) Delete the ‘Vendor.xml’ file ( C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader ) Or search your computer’s hard drive for the “vendor.xml” file. Once you find it, delete it.
6.) Connect the BlackBerry device to the computer. If prompted, type your BlackBerry device password and click OK.
7.) Open Desktop Manager. It should recognize that there is an upgrade for your device. (‘Vendor.xml‘ must be deleted for this step to work).
When the Application Loader Wizard is finished examining the configuration on the BlackBerry device, the Device Application Selection screen appears listing the applications and OS version available for installation. The selected check boxes indicate applications that are already installed on the BlackBerry device.
9) If you didn’t backup first you should select to do so now.
10) Follow the prompts and you will have OS 4.x installed in about 15 to 20 minutes.
