I noticed the Google Adsense ads a long time ago. But yesterday I noticed that The Star added Digg and del.icio.us button.
Lenovo Malaysia – Lenovo Thinkpad R61 with Microsoft Windows Vista Sucks!
I’m a big fan of Thinkpad, but not it’s operating system.
Can you imagine that by only copying a folder to another folder, Vista took an approximate of 1GB memory consumption? And when Vista hangs, there’s no indication that it really hangs because the mouse pointer still moving. I’m pretty mad on the so-called ‘built from scratch’ OS.
I decided to change the current Windows Vista to Windows XP using a Recovery CD. Now, I’m typing this blog with the Windows XP installed with no hassle. If you’re having similar problem, this is a nice read which specifically explain on how to downgrade.
Have a Microsoft Windows Vista Business or Microsoft Windows Ultimate system, but need to continue using Microsoft Windows XP for a while? For a limited time Lenovo is providing Windows XP Recovery CD media as a way to downgrade from Windows Vista. Facebook Ads Screwed Up. Why am I seeing Facebook Ads from Norway?
All this while, everything is fine. Facebook is geotargeting the application. But now it seemed that it screwed up.
I’m from Malaysia, but somehow I saw a lot of ads from Norway. See the screenshot below.

Streamyx Combo = Streamyx + Celcom Broadband
Initially, when Streamyx combo advertisement started to hit the mainstream advertising such as TV and local newspaper, it was very tempting.
Refer to the table below for the available packages. I’m subscribing to Streamyx 1Mbps and Maxis 3G which allow me to read and reply email anywhere, anytime, as long as it has a coverage.
But mobile number portability (MNP), initiated by MCMC has not yet started and to be roll-out this year. If I chose Celcom broadband, I have to switch Maxis simcard with Celcom simcard which in very unconvenient.
I don’t bring my Thinkpad T42 all the time, to connect the Huawei USB modem just to login to the internet. Sony Ericsson k850i is pretty much convenient for browsing purposes, even though Blackberry is a better option. But that’s another story.

But somehow, it’s being treated as spam. Pretty ironic, eh.
