Why Enterprise Should Consider Facebook Apps as Another Marketing Platform?

TV is dead. Printed media is dead. Internet is king.
That’s just my wild guess. Blue chip company (or just a tiny little startup), should try utililizing Facebook and Facebook Apps as a medium in marketing to reach mass audience. Yeah, it’s time for a change.
But the question is, why?
1. It’s a free marketing and spread like fire amongst Facebookers.
Keyword here is, viral. Once people use it, they’ll invite others.
2. Build branding easily on the web.
Let say you (hey, head of marketing, if you’re reading this, take note), and your company is about to launch a new product or a new service. Try Facebook and engage the returning user to use your application.
3. Relatively low cost.
No estimation just yet. But for sure, much much more cheaper that you run a full-fledge TV ads during a prime time.
Success stories? There’s a lot! Mainly from USA.
