I’m sorry. I miss the print-screen. I was on my Sony Ericsson k850i that time, so no print-screen function.
The newly redesigned Proton Saga is on Facebook. Wow.

Facebook Platform is Again, Unstable?
Reported in InsideFacebook this morning. Look at a picture i posted before.
Facebook Confirm Requests – Ignore All
Facebook, please pay attention. We as a user feel very tired to click ignore one by one on the apps. You recent update / changes to consolidate a lot of request is a good move.
But I want more. Why don’t you Facebook create a single link to “Ignore All” invitations?
Facebook F8 Platform Unstable?
Recently, a lot of people complained about the stability of Facebook Platform. Refer to the image below.

There are still a few kinks Facebook and the makers of Appsaholic are trying to iron out. We appreciate your patience as we try to fix these issues. Your problem has been logged – if it persists, please come back in a few days. Thanks!
Sometimes, it’s almost unacceptable. While the application developer is struggling the the TOS and changed policy, this headache comes along the way.

MacBook Air Funny Ads
I’m not really a fan of Mac. But this MacBook Air video is hillarious.
Haha. Let’s look at the real one which unveiled during Keynote 2008 by Steve Jobs.
And that makes me wonder. Shall I move from IBM Thinkpad to MacBook?
BlogJet Rocks – WordPress Desktop Blogging Software
Previously, I write, edit and post new entries by logging in to my own WordPress wp-admin dashboard. It’s not that conveniet because it requires you to login everytime.
It’s not a matter of easy or difficult. It’s about wasting a time, just to login and to logout.
Luckily, BlogJet saves my day. Quoted form BlogJet website:
BlogJet is a Windows blog client for managing multiple blogs, with features no web-based blog editor can match. What makes using BlogJet a lot more comfortable than posting with browser or other blog clients?
Sorry, no MAC and Linux yet. Or don’t like BlogJet? You may try other desktop blogging apps.
P/S: Now writing with BlogJet

Advertise your product, website, Facebook apps on Facebook
I’m writing in this in response of Jonathan Kleiman blog posting on AllFacebook titled “What’s the Best Way to Advertise Social Apps?”.
It’s pretty much interesting to talk about this, as this kind of advertising in Facebook is very new, yet very effective you touch the right consumers.
Why do I say so?
Simply because i’ve tried some of Facebook Ads just to experiment.
Most of the times, there’s 3 types people use Facebook to advertise.
- Website
Want some additional traffic? Yes, Facebook could bring it easily. But it won’t be so effective if you use it blatantly without focusing on your targeted market.
- Facebook apps
Very very effective in order to get a lot of installs of your application. This is very good to practice when you launch your new Facebook application.
(Hint: Much more effective if you ‘force’ invite 20 friends if anybody installed your apps.
)
- Facebook canvas page
Are you an artist of just wanted to have some branding in Facebook, so that everyone would recognize you? This is one of the way.
Ok, get back to topic. Let me tell you what’s the best way to advertise social apps.
By Age
Target your audience. If you apps is like a ‘love-happy-crappy-useless’ kind of apps, then teenagers aged from 18–25 may become your target.
Go to your Facebook ads page and create campaign. Select the age of your targetted audience.By Country
Turkey and South Africa (which are non USA and non UK) having a biggest userbase in Facebook. The problem is, do you want to target these countries? The answer is no.
Why?
Because this countries will not convert well enough. But if you just wanted to have ‘a lot of installs’ of your apps, this may be a choice.By City
It’s more specific than by countries. Manchester and Toronto is a few to name. Practically consist fewer yet reachable users rather than by country.
By Gender
Female works out most of the time. I guess that because they just wasted more time than male.
Pay per click or pay per view?
Pay per click is expensive. Seriously. Unless you have a big budget, this is a great choice. Your ads will be shown in the ads page and news feed all the time. If you target USA or UK market, most of the times, the cheapest will be $0.20 per click.
Pay per view is relatively cheap is you select by city or gender. To make it easier, target your ads for below 100,000 (1 hundred thousand) users. Chances your ads to be seen is higher than 1,000,000 (1 million). In the end, you’ll realize that you pay per click is only $0.04–$0.09. Somewhat shocking, below than $0.10.
Whatever it is, there’s always trial and error. It may works for somebody but won’t work for you. Keep tweaking the ads.
